I'd like to take this opportunity to thank Milo Rayo for these pictures. He recently became an intern at the Music Conservatory of SUNY Purchase College.

This picture is taken during a rehearsal of Purchase Symphony Orchestra. The tuba I use here is a prototype of Meinl-Weston 2155. Alan Baer, NY Phil principle tuba, helped re-tune the horn and changed the leadpipe a few months ago. The horn is probably almost 10 years old now, and it plays great.
